David Robb Adam was born in Ayr in 1851. He was baptised in the Ayr Cathcart Street Relief Church on 21st December 1851.[1]
David a Blacksmith, married Marion Glen in Glasgow in 1878. [2]
Following their wedding, David and Marion moved to the Newcastle area.

In the 1881 Census, David aged 29, a Foreman Blacksmith, was living with his family at 75 Durham Street, Elswick, Newcastle upon Tyne.
In 1891, aged 39, David, a Foreman Engineer Smith was living with his family at 104 Durham Street, Elswick, Newcastle.
In the 1901 Census, David aged 49, a Foreman Smith, was recorded living with his family at 45 Anne Street, Elswick, Newcastle upon Tyne.
In the 1911 Census, David aged 59, a Blacksmith was recorded living with his family.
David passed away in Northumberland, England in 1920.
In his Probate, dated 19th August 1920 David Robb Adam of 1 Priors-Terrace Tynemouth, was recorded as an Engineer. [3]
