Istvan Adam of "Szilas" was listed as "deceased" in the marriage record of his daughter, Judith Adam to Janos Lorintz, of Szogliget, on 28 Jan 1813 in Szögliget, Abauj, Hungary. They were both Calvinists. Istvan Adam was also, most likely, Calvinist too.
Research Notes
Collect all deceased before 1813 Istvan Adam in Szilas records.
In looking through the records of SZILAS CATHOLIC CHURCH records (where many Calvinists were registered) for Judith's birth record, I found an ISTVAN ADAM, Calvinist, of Szogliget. Notably, ISTVAN ADAMS married to SUZANNA BIRO. BUT he is from Szogliget, not Szilas as recorded in her marriage record. I have not found a child named Judith from this ISTVAN ADAMS based in Szogliget. I did find a Judith Adam but the age is 10 years off, born to Joannes Adam & Catherine Gaall of Szilas, who are listed as Calvinists, born 20 June 1779. There seem to be a reference to Komjati as parish so perhaps they are registered with Komjati Reformed Church too. In calculations of age, she would have been an older bride (32 years old) when she got married, giving birth to children until 1828 so highly doubt this particular infant may be her but will order Komjati records since they seem to have people from Szilas baptized there. Also the ISTVAN ADAM/SUZANNE BIRO couple seem too old to have a child in 1790 & death records gives Judith as being born around 1790.
In Komjati Reformed records, which became in this "Szilas" region, the local Reformed church (after 1780), there is an ISTVAN ADAMS married to a Maria Czudar with issue. Found ther marriage record in film #0624061 in Szilas on 16 Jan 1792. This may rule them out as the parents of Judith Adam if she was born in 1790. No follow up on all their children reveals no "Judith Adams" baptized there.
ALSO In SZIN Reformed, an Istvan Adams of Szogliget married Anna Puspok, daughter of Mihaly Puspok in 1788. A likelier candidate for parents but need to find baptismal, plus, they are in Szogliget.[1]
PARENTAGE OF BRIDE: "The deceased Istvan Adams of Szilas".
GROOM: Listed as "young man" of Szogliget.

↑ Better age estimation and also IF the child's name was changed to Judith, could this be her in Szilas records ?
