Iudel Aber was killed in the Nazi massacre of Linkuva, Lithuania during the Holocaust

Biography

Iudel was born August 23, 1895 in Linkuva, Panevezys, Lithuania, which was then part of the Russian Empire. His parents were Girsh Aber and Taube (Unknown) Aber.[1]

Iudel married Golde Shokhen May 1, 1927 in Linkuva, Panevezys, Lithuania[2] and they had at least two children, Moshe (born 1929) and Michle (born 1930).

Iudel was killed by the Nazis[3] between June 23, 1941, when the Germans occupied Linkuva and July 23, 1941, by when the Nazis completed killing of the entire Jewish population there.[4]
