Biography

Chotaro has Japanese ancestors.

Chotaro was born in 1886 in Shiida, Japan^[1][2] to Geichi Abe and Ue Furukado^[3]. In 1913 he married Shizu Watanabe in Agari-Matsu, Japan^[2]. In 1914, he immigrated to the United States for permanent residence^[2]. He died in 1956 in Seattle, Washington, United States^[3] and is buried there in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery^[4].
