Being US-born with northwestern European ancestry, I am not trying to call myself "Latin American." My wife is nearly 100% indigenous Mexican and my daughter scores 47% Native American at AncestryDNA (she didn't get it from me). I suppose I could categorize myself as an "honorary Latin American."
