Was Milton's middle name Carl or Carley?

Question

His birth record showed Carley for the middle name. That generally isn't used for a male. Has anyone else seen that as a middle name? Milton later used Carl as his middle name.

the names granted at birth, or very very soon after, will be almost anything the namer decides it will be and only in countries where there is a gender-suffix will the name be "male" or "female"
