Interestingly enough, one of my brothers and myself are both in the DNA databank most probably used for this  research.  The program was called Cartagène, and collected blood samples from thousands of people in this province, with full sequencing planned for all of them.  Unfortunately, no way to get the results individually, that was understood from the start.  It was linked to a genealogical database.
