I need some advice on the correct name for this merge. I do not have Ann's baptism, but on those I have for the family at this time, the name is written in the old style of an M superscript c then Lean, no space. My family has always used the format McLean and that is what I have used for her surname and for all the family. The duplicate has used Mc Lean which is what is found on FamilySearch.
What is the practice about including spaces in these surnames? I can't see that there is a separate list for Mc Lean as opposed to McLean. Guidance from the experts required, please, so I can complete this merge, one of three I need to do.

[[Mc Lean-7343]] and McLean-7016 appear to represent the same person because: They have the same husband and the same births and deaths. Spelling of surname is different as one has a space.
