Is anyone familiar with the Société généalogie des Cantons-d-l'Ést?  http://sgce.qc.ca/en/

Is it more useful than LaFrance on Drouin?

limited in scope, although they may have US records also since they adjoin US states.  They concentrate on the Eastern Townships (Cantons de l'Est), where I happen to have been born.  wink

Cool!  Thanks for the info too, I probably don't need this one since I have the Drouin-PRDH records already.

Though limited in scale and scope the organization does have several solid partners. ...

Since it is devoted to Cantons de l’Est it won't be more useful than the more general Quebecois sources. Whether it is a useful adjunct I can't say.
