Thomas Bishop is only mentioned in passing on p. 974 of Anderson's GMB Volume II (Ancestry share image), as being the father of Anne Bishop, baptised 22 October 1616 at Bridport, Dorset, England (Ancestry share image)
Anderson does not discuss Thomas Bishop's birth details (at least not in this source). Kingston upon Thames in Surrey is about 130 miles from Bridport. While I could imagine someone moving from Bridport to Kingston (which is only 10 miles from London), it seems odd that Thomas would have been born in Kingston and then moved 130 miles to marry and have his family in rural Dorset.
I note that the parish registers for Bridport start in 1600 (FamilySearch wiki), so he could well have been baptised in Bridport in the late 1500s, in which case no records would survive of this event.
Turning to the baptism records for Kingston, which are transcribed on FamilySearch, there are no Bishop entries between 1560 and 1600.
