Hello Threlkeld, Sutton, Dudley, England folks -
Please see the public comment I left this morning on
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Threlkeld-3
Recently, passing by this family while researching a Clifford line of mine, I was concerned to identify multiple ambiguous Lancelots Threlkeld. In reading about them, it appears WikiTree has conflated two discrete Threlkelds: an aunt Margaret and her niece Grace, into our profile Threlkeld-3.
To summarize the family tree (linked in the comment on the profile) there ought to be three^ generations:
#Lancelot II Threlkeld (Thirkeld-2) who m. Margaret Bromflete-1 (who also m. John ‘the Butcher’ Clifford-453), who had:
##Margaret Threlkeld (x) who m. Christopher Moreseby
##Lancelot III Threlkeld who m. Eliza Ratcliffe (and also Margaret Neville-1912, bastard dau. of the kingmaker), who had:
###Grace Threlkeld (y) who m. Thomas Sutton-172/243 (Dudley) etc.
We seem to have conflated x and y into Threlkeld-3, as she has the parents of x and the husband of y. At least, we are in conflict with B.W. Jackson FSA writing on the Threlkelds in 1887. Either he was wrong or we are.
Thoughts?
Anybody have definitive primary sources for these three families; or know them well, off hand?

^p.s. There may be a Lancelot IV or non-sequential cousin with the same name who later marries a Huddleston relative. (Not sure about that; seeing as a Lancelot "Selkeld" in unsourced notes.) And I'm not tracking the WIP of Threlkeld-3 being married to both Sutton-172 and Sutton-243, but I see others have been for some time. That may be related to Grace =/= Margaret, or a separate issue.
