Hi!

Is there anyone that know how to search the curchrecords in Norway?

I have got this webpage https://media.digitalarkivet.no/ and there I can find birth, death and marrige records. But what about the catechetical/assemblybooks? (In swedish husförhörslängderna/församlingsböckerna)

I can´t seem to find them. Any help are much appriciated. :)

Some Norwegian counties also have something called farm books (Bygdebøker) which provide a chronology and family listings by farm, and sometimes other details. Although they are not always accurate, they can be very useful to direct you to other sources. https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Norway_Farm_Books_or_Bygdeb%C3%B8ker

I think that Sweden is the only country (including Finland when it belonged to Sweden) with husförhörslängder. It sure makes life easier for a genealogist :)

As Maria says, there are no "husförhörslängder" in Norway. As a genealogist, I could wish there were. On the other hand, they represented a considerable degree of intrusion into the private sphere, and I'm glad that our government didn't have such a degree of control over the individual as in Sweden.

I do not think it is common to find catechetical/assemblybooks. Digitalarkivet do have the ordinary churchbooks keeping records of births (baptism) confirmations, marriages and burrials scanned. For censuses you will also find records at https://histreg.no/.
