Is it possible to produce a surname list of descendants?

I would like to be able to send DNA matches a list of possible names of an potential ancestors descendants.  Limited to the same 5 generations as the current descendants list would help, but ideally what family list produces would be fabulous!

Many people unfamiliar to Wikitree have difficulty navigating to and running family list.

Is it possible or feasible, perhaps for a future improvement?

I created one on my profile for me and the names link to the EKA (earliest known ancestor) in the line. I  have them noted as being on my paternal side and maternal side.

It comes in very handy when people want to know my surnames or how we might connect.

So this would be a list of all the surnames that a person's descendants have?

Yes, that's what I was thinking.  Similar to what we can currently do for our ancestors

Veronica, I think that what you want is available.  If you go to the profile of the person whose descendants you want, click the DESCENDANTS button.  That will display all the names of descendants in pedigree format.  You can then print that screen, or you can select all the names on the page and copy, then paste it into a word processor and save it as a file that you can email to someone or you can print it from there, too.  Is this what you had in mind?

Thanks Gaile - I was actually looking for something easier to do - and not an attachment. In my experience many people are not willing to look through long lists so I was thinking if we could produce just the possible surnames I could populate the email with those names.  Many times I can tell from the segments where they might fit in even though I might not know how I connect to that ancestor, so they are not in my tree.  I've tried doing what you suggest but it can be very fiddly, although not impossible as you say.  Just looking for a quick and easy method!

Go to your Trees and Tools under My WikiTree at the top of the screen.

Scroll down to see the various reports that are available.

Select  the one called Surnames.   I think it will give you what you want.  You may want to change it all same size font.

That's just the surnames of a person's ancestors, not descendants.

You will find the easiest way under a persons Family Tree and Tools / Genealogy Research / Family list.

Here you can have up til 15 generations of either ancestors or descendants or even both ancestors and descendants and you can choose also to include siblings of ancestors. The results can be sorted by Last name at birth, current last name, birth date, birth location and death location.

Thanks Ole - I referred this in my original post.  Is there a quick way to extract just the surnames for the output of that query when there are loads of them?
