There are two ways for someone to reply that will cause an email to be sent from WikiTree.

1. They commented on your profile page.

2. They sent you a private message via WikiTree.

If the reply was left as a comment on your profile page, it could have been deleted by the person who left the comment but any email sent would still contain the comment left.

If the reply was sent through the private messaging system it is contained in that email.

There's a third way … when you ask, answer, or comment on a topic here in G2G, you'll get an email anytime someone else adds a comment or answer.

Georgena, can you tell us which of the three ways it was and maybe even paste the content of the message here so we can find out why the link doesn't work?
Ah, yes. Thanks, Gaile..
I have searched WT for private wt messages, but i am not finding can you direct me where they are?
Hi Robin. Private messages are not stored in WikiTree. Both sender and recipient should receive a copy by email. If necessary try checking your spam folder.
