can we sort out the Husseys of Somerset?

I'm wondering about the pedigree in the Battle Abbey Roll:

Hubert (temp. William the Conqueror)

William

William

Geoffrey (cousin of Empress Maud??)

Henry, Hubert, and others

James (son of Henry)

Hubert = (dau of Count of Warwick)

James

Reynold

Edmund

Joan = Thomas Hungerford, Maud = Philip de la Mare

and thinking that it is more likely that Edmund Hussey whose daughter married Sir Thomas Hungerford was the son of James Hussey and brother of Robert Hussey of Swainswick rather than son of a Reginald or Reynold, although likely in this same line. According to deeds in Medieval deeds of Bath, this latter had brothers named John, James and Robert (deed 1341) and the property which came to the Edmund whose daughter Joan Hungerford had been held by James Hussey in 1335. Can anyone help with the dating and draw up a revised pedigree? The names James, Hubert, Reginald are rather thick on the ground.

British History online suggests this descent:

Reynold & Eleanor

William (& Eleanor?)

James & Anstice

Edmund (= Joan?)

Joan = Thomas Hungerford
