Congratulations, Peter. Excellent work! Thank you.
Well done, Peter.  He was remarkable.  So much energy on stage.
Great work Peter!

Any Australians working on Hunters & Collectors members?  They are my favorite Australian band.  2nd fave is Midnight Oil.
Thanks for sharing. My Mum was a huge fan, so it is nice to find out they are both in the same cemetery.

He was brilliant, besides getting better pay and conditions for other singers and bands he is responsible for my first TV appearance..... yes I was travelling on a Viscount from Sydney to Adelaide, I was 6 years old.  I sat on his lap and we sang a song that was on the TV the night before, it was called Frankfurter Sandwiches. ( The song  can be found on you-tube). Anyway he was getting me to breath and sing and we had a great old time.  His mates Digby Richards and Barry Stanton were talking to my dad. When the plane was about to land Johnny asked my mother for permission for me to walk with him.  We  alighted and he held my hand and we walked the tarmac waving back at the screaming teenagers. This was televised.   Years later after one of his shows at Marrickville I went to get his autograph and I mentioned to him that I had met him before on a plane and that he gave me my first singing lesson.  No word of a lie, he said 'Frankfurter Sandwiches.'
