I recently adopted the profile of Persis Rice Putnam [Rice-2942] and her parents, Zebulon Rice and Abigail Forbush Rice [Forbush-71]. Through my research in the Mathews/Matthews family, I knew Persis had a sister, Priscilla Rice who married a Whipple and was the mother of Levi Whipple. The Ohio histories said Increase Mathews and Levi Whipple were cousins, so I searched for a connection. While both men are nephews of Rufus Putnam, they aren't blood relations.
According to Ancestry, Zebulon and Abigail had seven children. I plan to add and source the children as soon as I can, so I'll add the Rice follow tag.
