Regarding the New Zealand project

Thought I'd advise that currently, I'm in the process of making a 'few' adjustments to the Project and category pages for New Zealand.

The overall objective is to both group everything together a  bit better but also to enable future works of expansion given the relative changes in our nation's history

I should also add that given that as I literally setup the entire military structure, there maybe some changes coming there as I assess that hierarchy compared to auto generated hierarchy of the empire of stickers

Update List:
*Free Space Profiles migrated to a tab list towards the top of the Project page
*New Zealand Project Box and Sticker information merged into a single table
*Region Naming information merged into a single section
*All resource information located in a single section
*Updated the associated project list
*A succession box linked with a category for when New Zealand was known as a different name (Colony of New Zealand and Dominion of New Zealand)
*Adjustments to the military structure to allow the use of stickers without causing issues

Looking to join the New Zealand project. New to all this, but have added Campbell-35047 (My great uncle Bill) and Neilson-355 ( my uncle Murray) both Anzac's. There may be more as I continue to work on the tree. Had one problem I knew that my uncle Murray died on 25 Dec in the last 70's or 80's in New Plymouth, but can't find his grave  or a cremation record anywhere..

Assuming you know Murray's surname, have you checked out the NZ free BDM index?

https://www.bdmhistoricalrecords.dia.govt.nz/

Above is the main page - you click the search button and then make your choice.
His death registration is 1984/29882. He doesn’t appear in the New Plymouth or South Taranaki cemetery searches. Could he be buried with other family members away from New Plymouth?
Pretty much all of the Neilson family that I know about yet are buried in New Plymouth, his father (Grandad) was cremated there and that would show up in the NPCC Cemetery Search and his mother is in Awanui in New Plymouth, his sister is buried above her. But can't find him anywhere. I did wonder if the fact he was a WWII veteran could have meant he was buried somewhere different?
