Have you considered this 1860 Census? In 1900, Henry said both parents born South Carolina, so this would fit.

Blackston-7 James H Blackston or Blackstone abt.1819-1870’s and mother Joanna Pilgrim this maybe his parents, I wish we had death certificates , these Blackstone’s didn’t have many records I can find..

I looked Blackstone-921 and Blackstone-501 over they seem to be two different men
