Worley last name Hubbard, Trumbull, Ohio 1800s

Question

Hi,

Several Worley's settled in Hubbard, Trumbull, Ohio in the early/mid 1800s that I can not determine there parents, including

DNA overlaps suggest they may be of the Pennsylvania Worleys descended from Francis Worley https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Worley-297.  Many in this group were Quakers.

Anyone have information on who they descend from? Thanks!

Have you tried to follow these families in Hinshaw Quaker encyclopedia? When you get to Ohio mid-1800s some of the Ohio records are in his unpublished index which Ancestry has digitized and made searchable.

Good thought... I haven't looked at all volumes.  Don't have Ancestry, but I'll work on available volumes.  My hunch is the family in general wasn't great Quakers as they don't appear consistently!

TRUMBALL is TURNBULL from the Scottish Borders=
Roxburghshire and Selkirkshire.

Trumbull County, Ohio borders Mercer County, Pennsylvania and both counties were formed about the same time.  It's possible this family had a large piece of land in both States.  You might try searching land records.

Also, you might try looking up Francis Worley who was the age to be their father and living in Trumbull, Ohio in 1830-1840.
