This is so involved.   There are a lot of Elizabeth Turners in early Mass.   The two I am having trouble with and have mixed up the info on is: Elizabeth b.  4 June 1729 daughter of Amasa Turner and Rebecca Delano and  Elizabeth (Betty) Turner b. 12 of May 1726 daughter of Japhet Turner and Hannah Hatch . I'm not sure my sources didn't also confuse them.   Now per your site and a distant cousin I met on the internet who had applied to the Mayflower Society and had been accepted, it is the Betty Turner we are related to.  His great grandmother was a full blooded sister of my great grandmother.  Ok I was wrong but..... I get contacted by a relative with matching DNA through 23and me.   When we go thru the list of last names we have in common, the name that comes up is Delano, now known to be a mistake on my part .  I was doing a search on Elizabeth Turner and your site came up with the message that no one has yet had a mtDNA test.who is descended from Elizabeth Turner.  If you have been DNA tested click here.  So here I am.   Hoping that I am not being stupid.  lol   If you read this ramble wtg and thank you.   Elizabeth Benowitz

I am very new here, but your tags matched some of mine. My DNA is being processed right now. So if you want any sort of follow-up, let me know. Jonathan
