How do I add a WikiTree link to a GEDmatch kit number on GEDmatch.com?

You appear to have already done what you need to do (which is to enter your GEDmatch ID on your DNA Tests page in WikiTree).  When WikiTree is once again associated with GEDmatch then your WikiTree link should automatically appear on the matching results page of your auDNA matching cousins.

Thank you, Peter.  I was looking for a way to add links for other GEDmatch kits I manage.  Is this temporarily unavailable?

Hi David,

If you manage a DNA test for a deceased individual and you also manage the individual's profile here, you can add their DNA test info to their profile here, including a GEDmatch test ID, if applicable.

WikiTree policy requires living individuals to enter their own DNA test info on their profiles here. Living individuals can do so by joining WikiTree, at least as a Family Member. They can also include their GEDmatch test ID at that time.

As Peter indicates, when the WikiTree/GEDmatch connections are eventually re-established, then any such WikiTree link should be reflected in the corresponding  GEDmatch reports, assuming that option has been enabled in the settings for the particular DNA test at GEDmatch.

Oh, so entering the GEDmatch kit number on a WikiTree profile automatically creates (or will create) the link?  You don't have to do anything on the GEDmatch side except "enable" it on the GEDmatch profile? Thank you!

Yes, that's my understanding - once the WikiTree/GEDmatch integration is re-established - you can check the status of WikiTree's side of that particular initiative here.
