Anyone with experience ordering documents from District of Columbia Probate Court?

I used the D.C. Superior Court online search tool to find the case number. Now I'm a bit puzzled on how to order the case document I found.  The charge appears to be 50 cents/page but there was nothing in the search results that indicated how many pages were included in this case.

Has anyone here ordered documents from the D.C. court?  Am I missing a step?

1) I read the directions and, is the case (estate) more than ten years old? Meaning, was the estate closed 10 or more years ago?

“When the document has been retrieved from storage, the Probate Division makes a courtesy call to the person who requested the document to tell him or her that it is available for viewing, and generally holds the document at the Probate Division for a minimum of two weeks, before returning it to storage.”

Call and ask if they offer the same copy service at $0.50 page. If they do, ask the same question that I gave answer for below.

2) If the case/estate is less than 10 years old and you do not know how many pages thus, don’t know the cost, call and ask for their policy. Most jurisdictions will either inform you of the number of pages or, they will ask you to send a check, blank at the amount, with a notation “NOT MORE THAN a certain dollar amount.”
