Can someone create categories for the Iceland's 8 regions, and the Counties within each -23 in all?

Capital Region: Kjosarsysla county

Southern Peninsula region: Gulbringusysla county

Western region: 4 counties - Borgarffjardarsysla , Dalasysla, Myrasysla, Snaeffellsnes-og Hnappadalssysla

Westfjords region: 5 counties.  Austur-Bardastrandarsysla, Nordur-Isafjardarsysla, Strandasysla, Vestur-Isafjardarsysla

Northwestern region - 3 counties.  Austur-Hunavatnssysla, Skagafjardarsysla, Vestur-Hunavatnssysla

Northeastern region: 3 counties  Eyaffjardarsysla, Nordur-Thingeyarsysla, Sudur-Thingeyarsysla

Eastern Region: 3 countiesf.f  Austur-Safftafellssysla, Nordur-Mulasysla, Sudur-Mulasysla

Southern Region: 3 counties.   Arnessysla, Rangarvallasysla, Vestur-Skafftaffellssysla

Hello Sharon,

Since these do not exist in WikiTree yet and there is no Iceland project, some collaboration needs to happen to map out the regions/municipalities and decide on the regional names.

This can be put into the Categorization project's to do list.
