They have added 10 million new records to the Arolsen Archive

The Arolsen Archives are the world’s most comprehensive archive on National Socialist persecution. The documents were collected to help clarify the fates of the victims of persecution. They contain information on victims of the Holocaust and concentration camp prisoners, on foreign forced laborers and on the survivors who were trying to rebuild their lives as displaced persons.

Today, over 30 million original documents are listed on the UNESCO‘s Memory of the World documentary heritage register. They are an important source of knowledge while at the same time serving as a warning for society today.

More and more holdings are being published in the online archive and the number of searchable names and keywords is also growing all the time.
