I just added to Wikitree four profiles for victims of the Iroquois Theatre Fire in Chicago, December 1903. The victims I added were all Springs.
What a disaster - more than 600 people died in this tragic event. All in attendance were there to see 'Mr. Blue Bird', a burlesque of the traditional Bluebeard fairytale.
I was always a little obsessed with Bluebeard as a kid, it scared me! I dressed up as Bluebeard's seventh wife for Halloween 2008. No-one knew who I was, but my costume included bloodied keys around my neck.
