Does anyone know the father of Joseph Pritchard, born 1811, married to Elizabeth Hannan/Hannon?

Question

This is not the Joseph Pritchard of Ky who moved his family to Missouri in the 1800's, but I believe they are kin.  Joseph and Elizabeth Hannan married in Botetourt, VA, in 1830's; all their children, including my husband's great grandfather John Spencer (Jack) Pritchard, were born in VA, but the family moved sometime prior to 1860 go Grainger County, TN.  Joseph fought in the Civil War; he died about 1866.

Hm. Coincidentally, I did a little work on some Pritchards this morning. I wonder if yours could have been slave-holders? Mine were African Americans living in Ohio. That was a common migration pattern either for enslaved persons who had been manumitted from Virginia. Ohio was a free state. I might have to stalk you.

Joseph Pritchard married Elizabeth Hanon 1 April 1834 at Botetourt, VA.

Elizabeth's father's name is William Hanon.

1860 US Census, 9th District, Grainger, TN has Joseph Pritchard age 49, Elizabeth is 45, Polace C male is 17, Betty dau. 15, Lucy dau 13, Jack S 11, William T 9, Inman dau. 7, James Y 2.

Wm Hannan male 82 and M L Bocock 24.

Joseph Pritchard was born in KY, all others in this household were born in Virginia.

Hi Mary, I'm doing some research on Pritchard ancestors and also DNA matches. While most of my Pritchards emigrated from Ireland in the 1830's to Ottawa Canada, I'm picking up DNA matches that link to Pritchards in Barren Kentucky, Fentress Tennessee and Hurley MO. These appear to have migrated to here from Pasquotank, Edenton and Bertie in North Carolina. Any help on research would be great!
