I believe this to be incorrect. What I do believe is that our John Bent was from another parish besides St. Elizabeth in Jamaica, born around 1730. He wasn’t born in 1703, because that means he was over eighty years old when his last child was born with Ann Agnes Rochester. Also, there are other Bents born before John Bent from St. Elizabeth, Clarendon, and St. Catherine, according to my research. I doubt we have a connection to any Massachusetts Bent, and if we do it isn’t through John Bent directly.

So, I have done AncestryDNA testing, and I do have a link to the Massachusetts Bents. I just don’t think our John Bent is this John Bent.
