UPDATE: We have found a wonderful wikitreer that is going to help us get the Sage line worked out. Thank you for all the records and help with personal knoweledge. We will have a refreshed Sage line before we know it.

There is a question on Allan sage and hsi wives. Nothing has been documented for sure on his wives, all info has been found by the parties concerned. This is a request to leave the profiles alone until someone not concenred with this can research it and find out who he married. his wife, [[Brant-164]], the children and his other wife need to be set so they can not be messed with until a determination is made as to whom his wife was.

Thank you

Can you add a link to the profile so that someone that is not interested in it can check it out.
I just tagged it, sorry I was very frustrated and forgot to put the ID in so the link would be there.

Lisa,

There is not a way to completely lock down a profile to prevent changes.

The best way to handle this is to follow the procedure for Problems with Members.

The person messaged me. I responded and hope it works. I had messaged before and gotten nothing but more changes. I will see if it works this time and then take  it to the problems area if there is anything else happening. Thank you so much for the idea. I had not thought of that.

What about a profile project protection?

That doesn't stop someone from detaching or attaching wives.
Anything is fine, I just feel it should be left alone while the research is being done. All changes can be made when it is determed exactly who his wife was. One person keeps going in and removing spouses and children. It needs to stop until it is proved.

Research her siblings and add their marriages. Look at people they associate with. Its a method us professionals use.

Elizabeth (Field) Jones wrote under the Pseudonym: Ke-che-ah-gah-me-qua. "Sketch of the life of Captain Joseph Brant, Thayendanagea" it contains a genealogical tree. Although it does not give the married name of Christina, it states her daughter Mary was the wife Joseph Sawyer (Nawahjegezhegwabe)

Another book that shows her brother Isaac's line:

One of interest is a sketch of a former slave owned by Joseph Brant: Sophia Pooley

Did Christina Brant marry Allen Sage ? No

She married Henry Aaron Hill (Kenwendeshon) http://www.biographi.ca/en/bio/kenwendeshon_6E.html

Although this profile states Aaron hill, it is Henry Aaron Hill and Christina's husband

What do you find on who he did marry? An Elizabeth was found from what I have heard but there is no proof of her hast name that has been found. Can you tell if it is Westbrook or if that is someone else?
The "U.S. and International Marriage Records, 1560-1900" are unreliable, they are also taken from genealogical trees. The Sage line does have serious issues as most of the info is taken from trees. There are excellent primary and secondary records available but not quoted. Adding of middle names and prefixes is a problem in the Sage line and dose not match records. I would like to help and can help add images to your line.
I would personally love the help Eric. I did not realize it was this sparce on good records. I was trying to work on other parts of the tree but it looks like I will be shifting my attention that way. Feel free to start, I look forward to seeing the positive changes and correct info as well as good sources.

Lisa

Eric,

There is also this g2g: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/806215/research-help-needed-please-this-needs-settled regarding all of this. I have not found any of the information she mentions. Maybe you have or can have better luck with it.
