When i entered the correct info it shows the parents as married and they are not married to each other .

Gillam-459 is not married to Jones-27220 but they are the parents of Gillam-244

Susannah Wilson, widow, relict of Nathaniel Wilson, late of Hartford, deceased, charged Carteret Gillam, mariner, with being the father of a child, the connection occurring in August 1703. Gillam denied the charge but the court found him to be the “reputed father”. ( Hartford County Court Records, Vol. 6, p. 250) On 27 May 1705 Benjamin, son of Mrs. Susannah Wilson, was baptized in the First Church, Middletown, CT.

This is from the help pages:

There's nothing on WikiTree that requires the father and mother of a person to be married. Marriages and parent-child relationships are recorded separately.

There can be some confusion about this because WikiTree enables you to create a marriage and a parent-child relationship at the same time. For example, if you are adding a mother and there is an existing father, the form will have a checkbox that says "X is the spouse of Y's father." Make sure this box is unchecked.

If a marriage has incorrectly been recorded, click to the edit page of one of the spouses. Look in the right column under Edit Family for the spouses section. Then click "[add/remove a spouse]".

BTW I never noticed the checkbox that says "X is the spouse of Y's father" either.
