Badge display doesn't change when I change it

Question

If I change the order of my badges or tick the 'do not display' box, then save the display, it looks fine, but when I click through to my profile, nothing has changed.  I tried refreshing the page, but - still nothing.

When you hit Save Display Changes, the Badges page should be returned by the server, in the new version.  When you see the page redraw, that says the changes have been saved at the server end.

Your profile page should then reflect that, if you refresh it.  Very odd if it doesn't.  Then you'd have the Badges page and the profile page not matching.

I have noticed that there is a delay in displaying the change saved in your WikiTree profile. But the change saved is immediately displayed in your G2G profile (In the case you made changes to your first 5 badges).

@ RJ - yes, that's exactly what it was doing.  But I did a hard refresh and it worked.

It may be a cache issue. This is what I am seeing for you:

Try a hard refresh (CTRL + F5 in google chrome). This will clear your local cache (which could still have your old display order stored) and refresh properly.

If you want to see if the changes took but don't want to clear your cache, you can also open the page in an incognito window - you'll see the page as the public sees it, now how your computer is feeding it back to you from the cache.
