I am looking for information on a Joshua Ridley (or Rigley/Wrigley), born in Ireland (probably County Wexford) between about 1765 and 1771. He married Elizabeth Anderson (or Henderson) and eventually found his way to Sorel and Kingsey Quebec. He had several children in Ireland and possibly some in Quebec. I have found parish records for his children in Quebec, but have not been able to find records prior to his immigration to Canada.
I don't really know where to turn for Irish records but I understand many have been lost. Any help on this family is greatly appreciated.
