Open Beta on My Living DNA

Question

I was just on the website for My Living DNA and found this announcement about their Family Networks being in open Beta Testing.

It's free to upload and currently free to match I think you need to create an account first but Here is the link to the article it's dated 2/14/2019:

I have two matches: my mother and a cousin who has been following me everywhere, LOL. The important thing to note is that only about 2% of users have opted in to the matching system as of this week (as disclosed in the Facebook user group) so that’s why matching is so rare right now. If we all go in and opt in, and spread the word, you’ll soon find you have many more matches.

I agree, I purchased my brother a DNA kit from them so I could get the Y info and we opted him in to matching he just got his first match. Which is also someone we know.  I think if everyone uploads and opts in we will get more hints. I uploaded and my brother matched to a 4th cousin who also uploaded... I think it's just now getting to match because so few have done the beta.

Not one match!  Not sure this is ready.  Yes, it's a beta, but I would expect that by now there would be *something* found.  Ancestry, FTDNA, and MyHeritage all have several thousands of matches for me.  I'll update when this improves.

I have one match. Of course, I already had her from several other DNA test sites.

Uploaded my kit from FTDNA 29 Jan 2019. Zero matches. Something is definitely wrong here.
