- Magnifique ! - ? perhaps we should use 'one' of his anniversaries for 'Australia Day' - as he had most to do with the 'title' of the Great Southern Land, and its maps  - - - - (food for thought ! ) - cheers -

Birth = 16 Mar 1774 - would be good - still warm to enjoy a LWE, make it the 3rd Mon in March (15 - 21) , and after 'Clean up Aust' , and before Easter - - and ANZAC - -

Death = 19 Jul 1814 - a bit cool, and in the ski season - - - (have a 'coffee' on it folks) - -

 - BtW - his 250th , will be in 5yrs time = 2024 - - yea ! -
