How do I delete questions from a profile page

I think maybe I should have said How do I delete questions on a profile page that have been answered?  I am assuming that as long as the question is still displayed it looks as though I am still looking for an answer but that is not the case.

You might consider leaving the question attached to the profile if it provides information that will be of use to others who are perusing your profile.

For example, in the Great Migration work I do here, I frequently create a question along the lines of: "Who were the parents of immigrant John Smith?" and it's linked to his profile. Even if the question is answered, I retain the link between the profile and the question so that others can see the correspondence that relates to the question. This is particularly useful when there are disputed origins or spouses.

Hi Judy delete the profile link  in your the question in the G2G  this will remove the question from the profile page Terry

I hate to show my ignorance but I don't know how to delete the profile link in my question.

 If I left click on the link it takes me to the profile in question.  If I right click on the link I get options but none to delete.  If I just highlight and press my delete key on my keyboard nothing happens.

I can't think of any other reasonable way to delete the link, though I know when you tell me I'm going to feel very foolish.

Hi Judy no you shouldnt feel foolish we all had to learn , go to the profile of Charles Goodman click on to the question you would like to remove this will take you to the G2G and the question you ask  go to edit at the bottom of  your question and remove Charles Goodman's Wikitree ID and the question will no longer be on his page if you have any problems let me know and I will remove them for you I am not sure if you want all the links to questions that are on his profile removed? Terry

I would NEVER have figured that out on my own, but it works like a charm once you know how.  I think I will leave the other questions there for now.  Once I am 100% sure I will no longer need any discussion on those topics I will take care of those questions too.

Once again, Terry, what would I do without you?

You could try deleting the link from the question.  I don't know, though.
