Family Bibles

There is a non-profit organization called Bible Rescue that accepts donated family bibles or purchases them wherever it finds them.  It then sells all bibles for $100 to family members to finance further purchases of bibles.  I'm sure many of you are already aware of this organization, but for the few who are not these bibles are a genealogy gold mine.

At least once a month for quite some time Bible Rescue has notified me of a bible belonging to a Goodman family that has three family names:  Laurence Ogden Goodman, James Eugene Goodman, Jr., and Katharyn Elizabeth Goodman with a date of birth of each.  These names do not occur in my Goodman family but I thought another Goodman researcher might recognize them.

In any event I recommend you take a look at Bible Rescue.  They have a website and are also on Ebay.
