Welsh married Darling

Col. Astell Thomas Welsh (1820-1904), married Julia Darling (also b.1820) in New South Wales Australia circa 1846 and who was reputed to be a daughter of Maj. Gen. Charles Darling (1770-1848) and his wife Isabella Cameron.

Astell and Julia had two daughters I know of, (A) Julia Eliza Harriet Welsh (b.1847) married Geoffery de Wilden and (B) Annie Riddell Welsh( b.1855) married Giacuito Remondini of Turin, Italy.

I would be most grateful if you could please confirm or otherwise identify exactly who their mother Julia Darling’s father was? And General Darling.

I can only find one Julia Welsh death between 1820 & 1920, assuming she never remarried?

WELSH  JULIA  6237/1867 Parents, JOHN & MARY. Died at MUDGEE

I found Charles' brother Ralph had the father mentioned but not by name.

Your Julia Darling and Astell Welsh were married in 1844 not 1846.

I pretty much found what Tess did re deaths of a Julia Welsh.

But if you expand and look for marriages:
