Other information of note include:
Rank - some Norminal Roles included under the rank their appointment such as Cook - Driver - Pioneer indicating their function within the unit.
Regimental / Service No - NOs were assigned to Non Commissioned Members. Officer were not assigned not assigned them. Help when looking for related Personnel Files on the BAC/LAC website under World War One Soldiers database search.
For looking at Nominal Rolls - my resource of choice is Doing Our Bit - Military and Family History Research ( https://militaryandfamilyhistoryblog/2016/04/18/nominal-rolls-of-the-canadian-expeditionary-force/ )
They have link to the 400 nominal rolls of the Canadian Expeditionary Force, covering all Corps (today Branches - i.e. Infantry, Enginners, CASC, CAMC, etc. Not all are there but a good starting point. Their source is BAC-LAC (Library - Archives Canada).
