I found that Service New Brunswick has a free map site that has some interesting maps. Probably the most useful to genealogists is the Grant Reference Plan (GRP) Viewer which has a number of layers but also maps out the original land grants in New Brunswick. These are also need to trace land forward in time.

For example, I found my 4 greats grandmother's grant right across the river from that of her husband. The maps include the grant numbers as well as the names of the original grantees.

Thanks, I always like new mapping tools.  The maps behind this application are the Cadastral Maps on the Place Names of New Brunswick site:  For example, https://archives.gnb.ca/Exhibits/Communities/Details.aspx?culture=en-CA&community=1755
