Jennie(mary virginia louise) was either a Whitehead or Duke from zen. She married a Morris(no first name) in Kentucky. They had a son named Dalton Alexander Morris.

Alexander Morris, Mulatto, was born in Louisville, KY in 1847.  In 1850, he was in Louisville, ward 7, Jefferson, KY and 3 years old. Martha Morris was 26 years old and John H Morris was 5 yrs old.

Alexander Morris was 13 yrs old in 1860 living in Division 2, Muhlenburg, KY Race is White, birthplace is KY.

Thank you for looking up this information. Dalton morris died in Nashville,Tn when he was about 13. Jinnie married a Morris who apparently died young. She has been a mystery for years in our family.

Hello, here are some dates on Jinnie Duke Morris Foster. Her b is sept.18,1870 and died on July 30, 1909. Possibly her second husband could be Thomas Morris in Kentucky. I thought there might be a marriage certificate. Mr. morris died or left her early.
