What does WikiTree want us to do with Blank Profiles? Unknown-205141

Greetings,

Regarding:  Empty profiles that are in the system.

 WikiTree I.D. [Unknown-205141]  

One child is listed on this profile [McHenry-221|Almond Hugh McHenry]

Just curious if there is a proper place for these (almost) totally empty profiles that are in the system to be corrected.  For example:  Working on this weeks challenge and suggestions 631- Wrong word in death location & 601- Wrong word in birth location.

You are doing it.  Try to identify her and fill out her profile.  The only thing you can't fix is the LNAB.  Even that can be handled, depending on whether the PM cooperates.

Edit - Another user is working that family as I write.

Yes, it was easy, her son had a unique name.  I have updated her immediate family profiles.  Her name seems to be in question amongst the trees.  I have left one unsourced FamilySearch profile as a link.

Genealogy.com has some speculation that might be worth following up on.  (That he might be the son of Henry Jr's sister, not Henry Jr's son.)

This is a placeholder for the father. If you want to do something, you might do some research and add sources for the son and unknown father. The Unknowns Project does work on sourcing these profiles, just hasn't got to this one yet.

I gave an example of what you can do with the profile.

Putting a before marriage date will keep the data doctors error report happy.

Using the son's birth info, I put when they were married by, and where they were living when he was born.

I also put the unsourced tag at the profile top as this will get the Sourcerers group to help you find some sources.I also put the second wife's name because that may help them find related sources. If you find some sources before the Sourcerers group get around to your profile., then just remove the unsourced tag and wife#2 name. Wikitree profiles are always a work in progress as we add more info whenever it it found :)
