Advice before editing this pre-1700 Lawrence profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of Joseph Lawrence. This is what I can add: Birth, Death, Marriage, Children and some excerpts from his will (maybe).

These are the sources I am using: FamilySearch, Ancestry, Archives, and message boards.

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

Read this first: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles

Become pre-1700 certified if not already, then join at least one of the Projects which interest you or what you are working on. Basic project list https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Projects  Each project will give info on how to join.

When adding sources from Family Search, Ancestry, etc., just make sure they are primary source documents and not user submitted things.

Good luck and thanks for joining the WikiTree family.

Thanks for that. I will do. In the past I have used member trees as sort of a place holder until I find a primary. I will avoid that.
