Okay I been doing some searching there is a Trotter Family History which has been written by a Angela Crusha Tarrant it is on Ancestry it has the below record

There was a Deed from a Isaiah Trotter to Josiah Trotter both of Pickens SC dated 7 Oct 1842. Who was this Isaiah? Can be found as Deed of Isaiah Trotter Pack 124 Clerk of Court Office

Jane his wife is listed in eastern Division of Pickens in 1850 Census.
