Help with a source Croix de Guerre award

Question

I have the Missouri genweb site only saying he was awarded the Fourragere,  but they say "he was only 1 of 3 only,"  what I have found (and is on the profile) is that the entire 6th Marine Regiment/2nd Div.  was awarded and could wear it as an Individual.. Do I need more of a SOURCE?  I did add it but ??? see May-8452

The 6th Marine was twice decorated with Croix De Guerre,all members

could wear it.It has many references on Google.You just go ahead.I was a

Marine and it is widely known.
