Convert my FTW Family Tree Maker file to gedcom format for me?

Question

I am looking for someone that would be willing to convert my FTW Family Tree Maker file to the standard gedcom file format that is compatible with most other programs.  I no longer have the software and don't want to buy it because I am going to use an online program other than Ancestry.com.  Thank you!

The following link shows how to get a starter edition of Family Tree Maker 2005. You will only have 14 daysto use it before they want you to buy it. I'm assuming that the starter edition will let you create a GEDCOM.

When I attempt to follow the process, I am able to convert an .FBC file to .FTW, but then Family Tree Maker 2005 says "The file you are trying to load is from a newer version of Family Tree Maker 2005 Starter Edition and cannot be loaded.  To upgrade your version, please visit our website at http://www.geneology.com."  The linked web site does not offer any ability to purchase another program and I assume the domain name was purchased by another company after 2005.  I can't seem to get around this.  Can anyone help?  I have a lot of information tied up in this file--about 12 generations.

My answer was true in 2014 but since then Ancestry sold Family Tree Maker to MacKiev (web site is https://www.mackiev.com/) and have discontinued all support for geneology.com.

My best suggestion is to go to the link on this page https://www.mackiev.com/choose_ftm.html for versions older than 2012 and request support. Alternatively, join the FaceBook Family Tree Maker Users Group and ask how to connect to Live Chat at MacKiev. MacKiev does answer questions in this group.
