We have some resources but need help with more civil war resources updating of his profile and categorizing the unit infantry rank etc. Need help from the civil war group on his profile. Any help is appreciated. Thank you wikitree family. Kindest regards

I had to make a page with stickers and stuff so I can just copy/paste them on profiles.  The Civil War Sticker is nice because it also adds the category.

As far as categories, they are easy to add if they already exist.  When you are in edit mode, just above the text box is a series of items.  Right in front of the C Cite your sources! is a box with little rectangles.  That is for adding categories.  Just click it and type in your category.  If it exists, it will be listed.  You may have to play around with it to get the correct format.

Thank you. I’ll get better with practice. This is my brothers wife’s family her 3rd great grandpa Hiram Royal Putnam’s brother. So I believe her 4th great uncle. Hiram was married and older and didn’t join the civil war. The wives got mixed up the names are close so had to fix this as Hiram’s wife is Boyant and William Henry Putnams wife is a Bryant. The mother of both sons is a Briggs!! LoL
