Gah, I disconnected a First Husband. Should I have him linked to my grandmother?

Schmidt-9984 was married to Richter-1741 then married Zacharias-251. All 3 are deceased. I had both husbands showing under her profile and then disconnected them. I'm not sure if that was the correct thing to do. I have made comments to the effect of her marriages in the Biography/Source notes but.....should they be connected in her profile??

Thanks!

I believe both husbands should be connected. Your mother can be cited as a source for the adoption and then bolstered by the documents once a translation is obtained.

It's always important to connect all spouses whenever possible. Doing so can go a long way toward preventing inadvertent duplicates.

If you can confirm the adoption, you can leave your mother connected to her biological father and then use the Adopted Child Template to connect her profile to her adoptive father in her biography.
