Why am I so frustrated with making changes via suggestion list?

Question

I am very confused by the suggestion list.  Changes don't seem to updated or they generate a message "got you again, wiki id.  My id is included when trying to make a change.  Whose id do they want.  Why make changes if the list does not reflect them?

I'm tempted to ignore suggestion list altogether.

Also just to try help a little more as we all took a while to learn how to use the formatting of wikitree. Make sure to put "<references/>" directly below the sources heading. That is popping up as a suggestion on a few profiles.

Below that you don't want to use any <ref> or </ref> tags as that means that the sources inside them won't show up, it will just show numbers. You should only use them in the Biography section.

Instead you can start them with an asterisk which will create a bullet point list. See: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Sources

Hi Jo, I'm not sure about the wiki id thing as looking at your suggestions list there are multiple comments on them.

To make them disappear you have to pick a box other than comment. If you have corrected the error select corrected and it will disappear until the suggestions list is redone usually on Tuesdays or so I think. And if it it is truly corrected it wont reappear.

If the suggestion is incorrect such as a unique name spelling that is actually correct mark it as a false error and it will disappear forever.

Another thing to know is that the lists aren't updated instantly. They get generated once a week so will hang around for that long.
