Steve Schmidt is a Wonderful WikiTreer

Question

Ok, I’m sure you’ve all heard this before, but I wanted to add my appreciation for Steve Schmidt for going out of his way to help me wih a very tough nut to crack, my Patterson line. Steve found some sources for me to check out and made a quality suggestion for the direction of my research could take.

I’ve seen this kind of thing over and over happening here on G2G, folks taking time out from their own research to assist others. Genealogists like Steve make it all worthwhile that I joined this community. I’ve learned that what’s most important here really isn’t just the trees, but the community that works together to make it happen.

WOW, Way to go, Steve, and well done!  You're a huge inspiration to all of us, and I'm personally deeply grateful to you for going the extra mile to work on what had been a very challenging part of our WikiTree family tree on Pip's Patterson line.
