My father's mother died when he was 4 years old.  His father refused to talk about  her and so we have very little information.  We have been trying to find nfo on Hannah and her family for a very long time and cannot seem to find very much at all.  This information is all we have:

Name: Hannah Grace Pearsall.

b. about 1891 or 1893 - most likely in NY

married John C. Kraemer in Prescott Arizona on November 5, 1913

John died December 27, 1913

Hannah married my grandfather, Hubert John O'Donnell on September 9, 1919

They had two children, Robert John O'Donnell, 1921 and Charles Pearsall O'Donnell, March 22, 1924.

d. May 13, 1929 on Staten Island, NY

This is the only information we know for certain.  Other information that is likely but not substantiated:

Father and mother may have been Charles C. and Mary Pearsall

Hannah may have been a Christian Scientist

Hannah may have died from something related to her kidneys.

Thank you.  I've visited that site and was able to order a marriage certificate and death certificate, which I am still waiting to arrive in the mail.  I'm hoping one of them will have her date of birth and then perhaps I can find her birth certificate and from that find out who her parents were.  There is so little information on her and it makes me feel so incredibly sad to think someone spent 38 years in this life and had two marriages and two sons and yet, when she left this life, there was no one to remember her or give her life meaning.  I want to correct that wrong done to her.  Thank you for your help
Hi Tara,

I'm glad you found that site usefull, you should be able to get enough information on them to get the birth certificate. While you're waiting for them to arrive, may I suggest a couple of sites to look at that may help you with the information held on the certificates and where else you might be able to get more information from, such as newspaper obituary notices, etc?

My suggestions are:

http://genealogy.about.com/od/death_records/a/clues.htm  5 things you can learn from death records

http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/dvs/death11-03final-acc.pdf  US Standard Certificate of Death
I just wanted to share with you that my grandmother's death certificate came in the mail today!  I found out her correct birthday, her father's name and her mother's maiden name.  I also found out what she died from (previously unknown).  Thank you again for your guidance.  The links you provided were helpful in determining what I could expect.  As odd as it sounds, I am SO excited about receiving her death certificate.  FINALLY.  A little bit more information.

Again, thank you.
Hi Tara,

It's always exciting when you get that next bit of the puzzle solved and you get more information.

All the best with your family research
